5 Participants #shutdownICE and are Arrested in Downtown Los Angeles

Five brave, committed immigrant rights activists participated in a civil disobedience when they blocked the entrance for DHS and ICE officials at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Downtown Los Angeles this past Monday, December 16th. Undocumedia Video – “Soledad: A Story of Deportation”

This short 3 minute film recreates a deportation scene. It was edited and co-directed by one of our members. The creators wanted to show how our lives are affected daily by these policies and that no undocumented immigrant is perfect.
