Rescinding of DACA, September 5, 2017

As of Tuesday, September 5, 2017, the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program is rescinded. The announcement was made by Attorney General, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III who spoke at length about the need for a legislative solution. As a practical matter here's the immediate impact of rescinding the policy. 1) No new DACA applications are being accepted.
