This committee is responsible for maintaining accurate information regarding immigrant-related policy and informing the public about current immigrant related news. In the past, we have spoken at rallies and remained a presence in numerous spaces to make sure the opinions of undocumented immigrants are heard.
At the same time, it dedicates itself to strengthening ties with allies in the community (organized labor and fellow community organizations) to ensure a safe and advocating space. Currently, this group also conducts presentations and facilitates forums on immigration issues such as AB-540, CA Dream Act, and the immigrant youth movement in general.
